Leeuwbosch Game Lodge is a four – hour drive from Gauteng , north of Vryburg in the direction of the Botswana border.
Visitors stay in luxury chalets, appointed to meet every possible need. There are 7 chalets:
- one honeymoon - en-suite, and 6 chalets each with 2 bedrooms and a
bathroom. The chalets can take a maksimum of 37 people. We also now
have a luxurious self-catering chalet with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, own kitchen, bar and braai facilities. Chalets and lapa are cleaned on a daily basis.
You can spend the evening in the lapa with its bar and braai facilities
or you can join the sheltered camp fire under camel-thorn trees for a
true Bushveld experience.
There is a conference hall that is
fully equipped. Leeuwbosch is ideal for family weekends, conferences,
corporative hunting, private functions and “bosberade”.
There are daily game drives and you will be able to observe the intensive breeding of lions.
Tree and birdlife abudance
Leeuwbosch Game Lodge is well known for its huge variety of trees that have been identified and tagged by experts.
Together with the trees you will find birdlife in abundance. More than 90 species have been spotted.
Game
A wide range of game can be seen, including antelope species such as
springbuck, red hartebeest, impala, gemsbuck, kudu, zebra, giraffe,
lion and many more. Have a look at our species page to see the variety.
This tranquility can also be experienced on horseback. This is how man and nature merge into one.
Activities
Volleyball (bring your own ball), darts, horse riding, gamedrives, hiking trails, children play area with trampoline.
